16 June Nile Valley & Blacks in the World
A.) A PowerPoint presentation discussing the Afrikan origin of civilization, science, mathematics, medicine, engineering and many other creations. We will also look at Black populations in the world and some modern day accomplishments.
23 June Afrikan Origin of Humanity & Afrikans in Americas Before Columbus
A.) An intimate look into the lives of the original descendants of the first human beings and how they developed a civilization through genius, creativity and ingenuity.
B.) A presentation showing various categories of evidence demonstrating that Afrikans were in the Americas before Columbus and helped in establishing America’s first civilization.
30 June Personal Image & Colorism
A.) The history and negative affects of colorism (dark skin/light skin prejudice), its impact on one’s image of self and how to overcome negative behavioral traits
B.) Exploring the consequences of negative racial images.

A.) Afrikan American inventors and scientists have been the backbone of American innovation. We will explore who some of these great individuals and their achievements are.
